1-Sentence Summary:  Nadine apologizes to her brother for giving him a hard time lately ... well actually for the last 17 years (her entire life).

Appreciated:
How this moment of emotional honesty and maturity comes out of Nadine at a moment when her brother really needs it.  He's at his wits end managing both her and her mother who are having a hard time in life.  This monologue shows she understands his life is not any less difficult for him as hers is for her.
